Morning Psalms 16, 17; Evening Psalm 22
Isa. 3:8-15; 1 Thess. 4:1-12; Luke 20:41-21:4
The soil is silent.
It is quiet underground.
As we shiver and draw our husks
around us close.
We wait.
Light comes.
So we fill our hearts and minds and
Tiny palms with the plants
Roots
Flowers
Oaks
And Aspens
That will be.
We are seeds.
Unassuming, defiantly
small.
And from us
Comes life.
We wait.
Light comes.
He promised light would come.
Like a seed.
The Soil Is Silent As We Cradle Life
Within
